Long time since anything new came up here, its time to change all that.
As most people find themselves in bellsgoclang-greetsandsweets time of the year, WE just finished up a session in the studio, which came out great. Cant really say more about it, but some of you`ll soon find out! After some 70-80 shows since fall 04 with shortcuts to France, Germany, UK, Sweden, Denmark and India WE is ready to tour mainland Europe next year. WE have signed Smugglers for an april release in GAS next year, and finally WE is releasing Smugglers as a double 12″ gatefold with a bonustrack. This will be available outside GAS as well, and in Norway thruu our own label, Nun Music. A collectors item for sure!
So when 2006 hit the shelves, be sure to check back here for frequent updates, tourdates, new releases and more.
By the way, Classic Rock gave Smugglers a rave 8/10 review in the Dec. issue, be sure to check out the Jan. 06 issue, cause WE threw in a track from Smugglers on the sampler attached to it. WE sincerely hope Smugglers will hit UK early next year as well. U.S is also in sight, more info on that later. SXSW?
WE`ve also heard were on rotation in South Africa, who knows, WE might go there as well!

WE`s Smugglers Tour leg 1 has finished, and WE wanna thank the danes for making the show at the Rock in Copenhagen thursday oct. 27th. the best danish clubgig ever. Check out Musik.dk`s livereview, which pretty much sums that particular gig up nicely. Smugglers is available for all danes here, so grab it!
WE is now in the studio recording new material, no new album plans yet.
Next year will be very exciting, as WE head for more touring abroad, mainly Europe, but other territories are in the making as well.
South Africans should check out the upcoming Fired Up! compilation out on ASP Records. The French can buy Smugglers, which has been out two months on Bad Reputation receiving extraordinary reviews. WE will hit french roads next year as well.

Smugglers is just released in Denmark, and is now available in any good danish musicstore. WE would like to thank the all rockers and regulars who came out to see WE, both in Lyon and Paris recently. The band was really happy about playing France for the first time, and WE will be back next year for more dates throughout France. In the meanwhile, go and buy their latest effort Smugglers, released by Bad Reputation. Smugglers receives fantastic reviews in french media, check it out!

WE contributes with Catch Electrique from Smugglers on the Fired Up! compilation released by ASP Records in South Africa both on cd and dvd in september. Other artist are Green Day, QOTSA, Satanic Surfers, Kaiser Chiefs etc.
WE also contributes with excerpts from Carefree taken from the 2002/2003 release Dinosauric Futurobic on forthcoming norwegian gangstamovie Izzat due september. Carefree will also appear on the soundtrack which contains norwegian rock from the 80`s and 90`s.

WE has confirmed playing Popkomm which takes place in Berlin this september.
Check the venue information in the live section, WE is scheduled onstage at 9pm sep 16th.
WE will hit Bergen and Kvarteret aug. 19th with a spectacular 2hr set, then Stavanger aug. the 20th to warm up the angels at their annual garden party.

To the french rockers and smugglers!
WEs latest album Smugglers will be released in France through an exclusive license with Bad Reputation. Smugglers will come out in beautiful digipack design and contains 11 tracks. So check your local dealer from august 8th! Smugglers went straight to the top of the norwegian albumcharts when released in Norway september 2004. WE will play two shows in France in September, check live section.

Due to faults in printingmatters and chaos at the pressingplant in Denmark, Kick Music together with Nun Music (WEs label) chose yesterday to force back all copies on the danish marked and reschedule the release of Smugglers until late September. WE will return upcoming autumn with a new single, video and several shows in October.
“It doesnt come as a surprise to us, most pressingplant workers are infected with glue and other chemicals, i am sure danes aint no exception”, Krisvaag comments. “Two releasedates of the same album in the same country means twice as many shows”, Don added.
