WE has been in heavy preproduction since 31st dec 2006, and has chosen 19 tracks for further explotation. Actual recording starts monday, and Krisvaag reported on a  very dodgy cellphone that, quote: “WE are meaner, leaner and teethier than ever, we`re the freaks in the street”.
Jägermeister Rock Liga is closing in, and you, the fans are really making sure WE is climbing the ladder for most prevotes. Keep voting for WE here, click rocken and then your favourite orchestra, which is WE.

“Happy New Year!” they said, and entered Hangaroundsounds to start recording the follow up to not so recent Smugglers.
Yes it`s a fact. WE is now locked up for an unlimited timeperiod recording their long awaited new album. There is no scheduled releasedate, but the band said they, quote: “head for a worldwide single release late may/early june”, on a dodgy and uberinfected cellphone last night.
To make it clear, WE decided to start recording on new years eve, so they are already letting the tapes roll. More info as we get it here at werock.org

WEs catalogue of songs ONLY released on vinyl throughout the years will be posted chronologically on their Myspace site every 4th week for download.
Right now you can download Boom Boom Apes (Burn the Street Vol.1- Daredevil Records 1999) and Applestomp from the vinylversion of Wooferwheels (1997)
All songs in highest quality of course, but due to crap politics at Myspace, maximum is 6mb. That means long tracks need to be scaled down qualitywise in order to make them appear, and, WE has multiminute songs in the pipeline for yah!

WE start recording their long awaited followup to 2004/2005/2006 outing Smugglers at Hangaroundsounds in Oslo, january 2nd 2007. By now the band has nailed down close to 30 tracks. Some of these tracks are selected for premiering live on the upcoming Motörhead tour.
Smugglers arrived yesterday in a fantastic gatefold version and will be available at the tour with other goodies, search for the merchstands that has WEitems in it.
Smugglers come in limited copies, so get it while possible. WE is also set for Jägermeister Rock Liga in february 2007, see new dates in livesection.
WE`s myspace site will soon make unavailable vinyltracks available for download, so keep checking the myspace site regurlarly for exclusive shit. Leave a message of what tracks you would like, and WE`ll see if your wish will be fulfilled.

Finally! As WE starts touring in november and december they bring with them the double 12″ gatefold version of Smugglers at all shows. High quality pressing, and a bonustrack entitled “7 AM” with Mr Goss on moogs is included on this true collectors item. It is also available through Rodeostar/Edel in very limited quantities at certain shops throughout G/A/S 
As we speak, Catch Electrique from Smugglers is out in G/A/S as a radio/dj single. 

As WE tours with Motörhead in November and December, several headlineshows keep getting confirmed. Added to the list is  a second Berlin show, Cologne. Bielefeld`s Forum is already confirmed, and WE serves as DJs in Hamburg on dec. 4th. Check live section for details.
